"One step at a time is always better than looking at the whole steps ahead." This is a well-known thought.
Experience roars louder than words.
My experience is modest, but the lesson is indeed a great one.
It was yesterday night. The place of wisdom was my kitchen. Three spoons were kept together in a spoon holder. I tried to take them all together, but all of them were rigid to come out of the holder. Then, I took the spoons one by one and, it was easy to finish the task without any hassle.
A thought flashed in my mind at that moment, it's good to step on each step at a time, without fearing, or, stressing, or, overthinking about the whole staircase.
When we take on work, we push ourselves into a stressful regime by looking at and overthinking about the entire work. The work is indeed big, but we can split it up and do it. Instead of looking at the whole path, let's focus on and take the step in front of us with hope and confidence, to reach our destination.
The incident is very simple and common. But, the lesson is undeniably a prominent one.
Why do we have to restrict ourselves to learn from simple things?
What are the lessons you learn from simple things?
Do let me know in the comments.
